Summer is here… and there’s no better way to celebrate than through your wardrobe! A woman’s outfit can act as an extension of her personality – from the comfort of a cozy, oversized sweater to the rush of confidence that comes with putting on a little black dress, our clothes have a large impact on our moods and how we are perceived. Since the weather has warmed up and the sun is staying out late each day, its officially time for a summer wardrobe update. For the next couple months, we can enjoy relaxing evenings outdoors in summer attire that looks and feels great.

In 2017, there’s a ton of fashion trends that have been resurfacing, as well as some new ones that we are seeing for the first time. Here we will breakdown some of the Summer 2017 fashion trends we are most excited for:

Off The Shoulder Trend.jpg
Off the shoulder blouse from Zara, Wide leg pants from Theory, Illaria frames from Via Spiga, Carson 2 sandals from Via Spiga

Bare shoulders saw a huge resurfacing this winter with the “cold shoulder” sweater craze. It’s now carried into Summer with the always on-trend, off-the-shoulder look.

Striped shorts from H&M, V-Neck t-shirt from Banana Republic, Via Spiga frame Maurizia, Denim Jacket from H&M, Strappy sandal from Rag&Bone

Ripped beach umbrellas, weathered lounge chairs and Nantucket awnings – one of Summer’s major striped trends fit right into the warmer weather.

Chic Utilitarianism Trend_v2.jpg
Safari dress from Diane Von Furstenberg, Valena lace up sandal from Via Spiga, Vienna frames from Via Spiga, Mini MAC cross body from Rebecca Mincoff

There’s more to the trend than the khaki textile—in 2017, almost every designer has figured out how to make utilitarian material work.

  1. Whew the weather is heating up and so is my wardrobe! You are right, we can’t miss off-the-shoulder, stripes and utilitarian material work. Also, we need floral, bright color and dramatic accessories.
