Leading frame supplier, Zyloware Eyewear, prepares to celebrate 95 years of business in 2018. The anniversary marks over nine decades of success and innovation as an industry leader and includes three generations of family ownership and operation.
To celebrate Zyloware Eyewear’s 95th anniversary, Zyloware is launching a year-long celebration with quarterly initiatives to recognize the company’s accomplishments and milestone achievements. We look forward to combining our celebration with the 3rd annual National Eyewear Day (June 6th) and our mission of providing quality eyewear to the community. Additionally, Zyloware will celebrate its 95th birthday during Vision Expo East and Vision Expo West this year alongside our customers and eye care professionals.
As a leader in the industry, Zyloware was the first optical company to license an American designer brand – Gloria Vanderbilt, and the first to license a celebrity eyewear brand – Sophia Loren. Zyloware is also recognized for introducing the first commercially viable, nearly indestructible nylon frame, the Invincible, which sold over 30 million units in 30 years.
Zyloware’s celebrity portfolio includes Sophia Loren, Gloria Vanderbilt, Daisy Fuentes, Randy Jackson, and most recently, NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, whose collection taps into the athleisure trend.
