Celebrating National Eyewear Day: A Visionary Event for Port Chester Community
On June 6th, the Port Chester community experienced a transformative event that highlighted the importance of eye health and vision care.
National Eyewear Day, the annual celebration of all things optical sees the highly anticipated collaboration with Optical Academy for free eye exams and frames. This year the event saw nearly 200 residents from the local community flock to the Port Chester HQ for a special occasion not only celebrated eye health but also fostered community spirit and awareness.
A Remarkable Turnout
The event saw an amazing turnout, with individuals from Port Chester and the surrounding areas coming together to prioritize their eye health and with more eye doctors than in previous years everyone received the care and attention they needed, from children experiencing their first eye exam to adults updating their prescriptions. Everyone that needed corrective lenses had the opportunity to choose from a diverse selection of high-quality Zyloware frames from brands like Randy Jackson, Shaquille O’Neal, Sophia Loren, stetson and Via Spiga ensuring that everyone found the perfect pair of glasses to match their personality and needs.

One of the day's highlights was the new addition of optical students from Clara Barton School of Optometry whose participation not only provided them with valuable hands-on experience but also underscored the event's focus on education and community involvement.
