Big Impact: Raising Awareness for Sport Eye Safety

September is sport eye safety month.

According to Prevent Blindness America, there were 31,000 sports-related eye injuries in 2019. Zyloware's Senior Manager of Business Development, Mary Lanning, speaks with Dr. Jennifer Stewart about the importance of sport eye safety and incorporating protective sport eye wear into your business.

Dr. Stewart is a partner at Norwalk Eye Care, a multi-doctor practice located in Norwalk, CT. She is also the co-founder and Chief Vision Officer of Performance 20/20, a sports and performance vision training center located in Stamford, CT. Dr Stewart is a frequent lecturer, presenter and writer in sports vision, contact lenses, practice management and practice operations. She is on the Advisory Board for the International Sports Vision Association and was the Theia Award Winner for Innovation in 2019 for her work in sports and performance vision.
