From Shaq to Social: Highlights from Vision Expo East 2019

Vision Expo East 2019 was a was a huge success! In addition to furthering relationships with customers and friends, new and old, we hosted two exclusive events at our booth – a photo opportunity with Shaquille O'Neal on Friday, and a social media class on Saturday presented by Amanda Rights, O.D., and founder of OptomEyesLife.

Shaq's appearance filled our booth with a lot of fun and excitement. Since the launch of his successful eyewear collection in 2016, we’ve loved getting to know him, his big personality, and his heart for the community. After her great discussion at last year’s Vision Expo West, we were thrilled to have Amanda Rights, O.D. at our VEE booth this year! Amanda presented an informative session on “How to Build Your Brand on Social Media and Drive Sales,” in which she shared her top ten tips for optimizing your social media presence. Social media is an ever-growing opportunity for eye care professionals, so all attendees truly benefitted from what Amanda prepared for us!
